The website didn't have a lot of information, but it sounded like a singles club.
There was a form you could fill out to get more information, which I did. Someone named Sarah then called and introduced herself as being from Fort Worth Singles. I didn't have the time to talk to her, but she continued calling until I did. She told me they were a very selective singles club that offered numerous high-end services.
When I inquired about pricing and other details, she said I would have to come in for a personal interview so that they could determine if I was eligible.

I half-heartedly made an appointment, thinking it couldn't hurt to get more information. I googled FW Singles at this point, but couldn't really find any info on the company, good or bad. About an hour before my appointment, someone called me to remind me of it, and gave me directions.
Only then did I learn that the company I was visiting was actually called Great Expectations.

It turned out they were not so much a singles club as a primarily online dating service. They kept me in the office for two hours, during which I was exposed to extremely high-pressure sales tactics that left me very emotionally upset. Basically, the saleswoman kept reminding me that my time was running out, and explained to me that Great Expectations were pretty much my only hope if I ever wanted to get married and have children.
The salesperson then began discounting the membership packages, the catch being that I'd have to sign up before leaving the office. As soon as I left the office, I realized my mistake.
I could not afford spending this sum, nor did I really want the service. And I felt like a fool for having let myself be tricked into signing up for something I did not want. I called back to cancel my membership two hours after signing up for it and also sent a written cancellation by registered mail the following morning. I requested a refund, but it was refused to me. The saleswoman I had met with pointed out that I had signed a contract stating that there would be no cancellations or refunds.
And it is true, I did sign the contract. It is true that I signed a contract stating there were no refunds. But I have several problems with this situation: Any Any A link has directed you to this review. Its location on this page may change next time you visit.
I was assured there were quality men I could be matched with. I trusted their assurance but it produced absolutely nothing. This was about 10 yrs ago. They could not have been background checked.
They gave me their resumes to try to get hired on my job. They were not who they profiled. I wanted to meet someone of quality.

I show them pictures, I have strong descriptions, qualities, characteristics and more. They said "they could help me" find a woman like this. I almost fell off my chair!! Shows you how deceptive they can be, they will try to MILK you for all they can get from you. About 10 days goes by and I get called in for my photo shoot, that took about 3 hours to do.
Then they spent about another hour with me going over things and gave me a list to take home of possible referrals, claimed they worked on that list of 15 people for over hours to put it together. It was pretty obvious once I learned how to use the site, and looked at the list, they can just as easily jot down profile 's and claim whatever they want for time input.
So I reviewed the list and there was NOTHING on that list that even remotely interested me - that was another clue they had never read my hand prepared typed initial profile I gave them and it was quite detailed both about me and what I wanted. So I got home and started to look for others locally. Give or take miles maybe. I found one possible that I liked, but after 34 days which is over their timeline to reply she never replied and her profile was never put on "HOLD" either, this company says right on the back on the contract they give you, "You failed to provide a response to another member yes or no your membership is put on inactive as a penalty" - they failed to do that because she was a woman most likely and most know if you don't have woman, the men won't come either.
